We are hoping to find an enthusiastic and caring toddler teacher for our 2's classroom who is looking to provide quality care.
Job
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning - Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred - Previous experience working with preschool-aged children - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Ability to pass a background check Skills:
- Tutoring:
Experience providing one-on-one or small group instruction to children.
- Classroom:
Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting, including behavior management techniques.
- Preschool:
Knowledge of age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children.
- Toddler care:
Experience caring for toddlers, including meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
- Child welfare:
Understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
- Early childhood education:
Familiarity with theories and practices in early childhood education.
- Experience children:
Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Educate:
Ability to facilitate learning experiences that promote growth and development.
- Childcare:
Knowledge of best practices in providing care for young children.
- Special education:
Understanding of strategies for supporting children with special needs.
