What We Expect of Our Inside Sales Rep:
Take requests from our repeat customers (usually via email) Ask clarifying questions if needed Generate custom quotes using our software Send quotes back to customers - our goal is same-day response time Follow up with the customer within 24 hours after sending the quote About Our Ideal Inside Sales Rep:
Experienced:

years of inside sales or customer service.
Willing to train in industry knowledge.
Experience generating custom quotes, background in parts, and working in a machine shop or the steel industry is a plus.
Experience with stainless steel plate products is a plus! Accurate:
Detailed.
Correctly enters the specs into our software and ensures the quote is accurate.
Computer Savvy:
Able to learn new software and navigate a computer confidently.
Prompt:
Respond to customer inquiries quickly, with a same-day quote goal.
Consistent:
While each quote is custom and unique, following the processes requires consistency and attention to detail to generate an accurate quote.
Clear Communicator:
Most of our communication with customers happens via email.
They send us specs, and we generate a quote and return it.
Must communicate clearly and concisely while still building relationships and trust via email.
Down-to-earth:
Working in a casual, privately-owned office without customers walking through the door.
Sales interactions are over the phone and by email, so there's no need to dress up for work.
What we offer our Inside Sales Rep:
