The BDC Manager (BDM) is responsible and accountable for training employees and aiding support to the General Manager.
The ISM supports the staff to achieve departmental gross profit and performance standards through dedicated specialized follow-up activities enhancing C.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The BDC Manger has demonstrated that they are able to complete all the duties and responsibilities.
They are accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below.

The BDM also performs other duties and responsibilities as needed and requested by their Superiors:
Maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and customer databases Verify all manufacturer leads and their duplicates have received a relevant email pertaining to their request and meet the manufacturer guidelines.
Verify all internet lead and telephone responses have received direct answers to their questions.
Updates customer contact information (phone number, address changes, etc.
) for all software that do not integrate Keep abreast of current incentives, specials, promotions, inventory, and product knowledge daily and verify that the information in the CRM matches the promotion.
Understand dealership processes (finance, appraisal, etc.
) and learn effective ways to communicate these processes to sales and clients.
Verify that all in-bound calls for the department have been input into the CRM system.
Update the CRM with pertinent information about the customer interaction by providing detailed notes.
Complete dealership CRM/ILM certification requirements Adhere to the National and State DoNotCall policies and procedures.
Complete CRM daily work plan tasks assigned to the ISM.
Compete replies and hot tasks in daily work plans assigned to Sales Consultants on their days off.
Verify all open appointments for Sales are closed within 3 hours of their shown / missed appointment.
Create and close dealership visits within 5 hours.
Verify that all active leads are on a follow-up schedule.
Verify 'bad' leads have been properly closed.
Verify 'lost' leads have been properly closed.
Meet with Internet Sales Consultants one-on-one daily and weekly to review performance metrics.
Role play with Internet Sales Consultants daily for proficiency.
Listen to recorded calls and verify that the agents are providing an exceptional experience Complete 90-day onboarding of all new BDC Agents and delegate training to Senior Agents as needed.
Verify that all advertising types (internet/phone/walk-in) and sources (cars.
com, autotrader.
com, etc.
) are updated accordingly.
Review the CRM training transcript report and verify that all Sales Consultants have completed the required courses.
Attend Saturday and required staff meetings.
Keep employees abreast of CRM upgrades and enhancements.
Assist the dealership with meeting appointment set (50%), show (50%), minimum confirmed of 50% metrics.
Assist Sales Consultants with a Manager takeover (TO) calls when they are unable to assist the customer.
Oversee dealership(s) response time reports.
Keep the General Manager abreast of any problems or concerns.
Create the Internet Sales work schedule.
Submit 3rd party leads for duplicate credit as requested.
Verify task balance and load for the store and verify that processes are followed.
Review invoices and approve vendor invoices as requested.
Complete technical support tickets for various systems as requested.
Provide the dealer with the necessary reporting weekly, monthly, etc.
as requested.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
High motivation and enthusiasm Computer knowledge and/or
Experience:
Intermediate level Microsoft Office suite of products:
Intermediate level Keyboard proficient with ability to type 40 wpm.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous call center training and customer service skills preferred.
Past BDC Agent experience required.
Ability to quickly problem solve.
