Over the last 77 years, CALECO has grown to become the largest privately owned and operated commercial laundry vendor in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.

The company is seeking a Part-Time Purchasing Assistant.
The hired employee will work approximately 25 hours per week.
The selected candidate will be responsible for high volume purchasing of parts and company resources.
The hired person will support the daily purchasing functions.
The candidate should have strong data entry skills, be detailed oriented and have a well-developed communication skill set.
Key
Responsibilities:
Communicate to vendors, negotiate pricing and obtain pricing and product options Send purchase requisitions to management for approval Issue purchase orders and receive inventory Buy parts and resources Gather, analyze data and process orders Match invoices, packaging slips, receiver records and purchase requisitions for Accounting Research dispute and correct invoice discrepancies Track purchasing and receiving within MS Excel and Great Plains Process warranty and returned products to vendors Maintain vehicle fleet and send repair estimates to ownership for approval Skills:
Ability to work with a variety of personalities and ability to work well with people Solid and clear communication skills set Focused driven, ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills Strong time management Strong negotiation ability Computer proficiency with MS Suite:
