Summary:
The primary responsibility of this HR Generalist position is to oversee the staffing needs of the district.
The HR Generalist will work collaboratively with the HR department, other administrators, staff, and external vendors to perform duties that may include compensation, benefits administration, payroll, HRIS, and general human resources administration.
Qualifications:
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skills and/or ability necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required HR Certification; i.
e.
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with knowledge of equity & inclusion practices to support district mission Knowledge of Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems Must have and maintain a valid state vehicle operator's license to travel between district buildings Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements Click here for more information about required clearances Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment Duties &
Responsibilities:
Employee must have the ability to perform the following essential functions on a timely basis with or without reasonable accommodations.
Manages the entire staffing process including sourcing, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining staff Develop and implement recruitment and hiring strategies to meet current and anticipated staffing needs Assist with the coordination, development, and implementation of HR projects in collaboration with other HR and district staff Coordinate leveraging technology, including Frontline Recruiting & Hiring, Frontline Central, eFinancePlus and all other current and available HR related technology to improve efficiencies across DASD related to human resources Partner with communications to develop marketing strategies and DASD brand development Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels and effective departmental operations Supports district efforts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with state, federal, and local regulations pertaining to personnel, tenure, and certification requirements Manages, compiles, and analyzes data for district use Assists employees with personnel-related questions and revises job descriptions as departmental needs change Develops and maintains policies and procedures to ensure clear instruction and consistency, including training materials to advance knowledge of HR practices Performs other duties as assigned Salary 2023-2024 School Year:
$81,912 - $102,389 annually Placement upon salary scale is dependent upon education and years of experience in similar position Summary of
